Mechanism of action:
Strobilurins are inhibitors of cellular respiration. The mechanism of action is inhibition of mitochondrial respiration as a result of inhibition of cytochrome c reductase activity. That is, there is a violation of electron transport in complex III of the mitochondrial membrane, which leads to a violation of cellular respiration. Complex III (ubiquinone - cytochrome c oxidoreductase, or bc - complex) is an intermediate link in the chain of respiratory enzymes of bacteria and mitochondrial eukaryotes. It catalyzes the transfer of electrons from ubiquinone to cytochrome c. In this case, the energy of redox reactions is converted into chemiosmotic membrane potential. Selectivity of action is ensured by the difference in the rates of enzymatic de-esterification in different objects.

Strobitek is a contact fungicide with a therapeutic effect and a partial systemic effect within the leaf, it penetrates into plant tissues. It has translaminar activity. Strobitek is used in systems with other fungicides due to photochemical instability, as well as high volatility. The drug must be used with fungicides with a different mechanism of action. A fungicide with translaminar action, it is able to penetrate between cell gaps into the middle of the tissue. It does not have a negative impact on the environment. Strobitek can be used in tank mixtures or in alternating treatments in combination with other fungicides (Acidan, Efatol, Tioros, Universal, Fitolikar, Fregat).
